The location was fantastic, providing easy beach access and stunning ocean views. we faced some challenges, including issues with housekeeping and the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. While the pools were enjoyable, the lack of staff presence for service left something to be desired.

i had a wonderful stay, with a fantastic oceanfront view and a friendly young lady named hannah at the front desk. the two pools were great for the kids, and the bar offered delicious food and drinks, making our trip memorable.

The ocean view from our room was AMAZING! 🌊 The staff was friendly, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the boardwalk. Only downside was the bed was a bit too firm for my liking.

the location was perfect for our family vacation! the rooms were nice and the beds were super comfy. having a coffee pot and mini fridge was a nice touch. roy from maintenance was awesome! we told him our balcony door wouldn't open and he was so fast to fix it, an amazing service!
i didn't like that there was no room service and my pull-out couch was super uncomfortable. also, the screen door was broken which was a bit annoying.

would love to come back
Location is fantastic with easy beach access. Our room had a balcony with an ocean view, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, kitchenette, and refrigerator. The pool area was nice with sun loungers and a shallow end. Fitness center was a plus! Staff was friendly and quick to help. Great dining options nearby, especially the pizza!

Check-in felt pretty disorganized. I had to find the right building to check in. The location right on the boardwalk is fantastic, making beach access super easy. My room offered a partial ocean view and was spacious, but I found mold in the shower, which isn't great for someone allergic to it. The air conditioner wasn't cooling much despite being set to the lowest temp. I asked about beverages in the vending machine, but staff didn’t seem to know why it was empty. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were generally friendly despite the hiccups. I saw employees hanging out on the balcony during the bike parade, which felt unprofessional. The experience could definitely use better communication from the staff regarding room issues. Overall, I enjoyed the location but would hope for better cleanliness and service next time.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice ocean view. The bed was perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. Plus, it had a mini fridge and coffee maker, super helpful! My only issues were the noisy air conditioning, and I could’ve used a more comfortable chair.

The stay at Crystal Beach had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, with easy beach access and a great atmosphere around the hotel. However, the parking garage needs improvements for safety, and the overall cleanliness could be better. Staff were helpful but some issues took time to resolve.

The hotel had a charming beach-themed decor, and the cleanliness was impressive. I appreciated the accessible ramps, which made navigating the general areas a breeze for us seniors. it significantly enhanced my stay at the beach.
More seating options in common areas would be helpful.

missingWrote a review on Oct 14spacious roompartial ocean viewsconvenient locationcleanliness issues
The room struck a balance between spaciousness and comfort, offering stunning partial ocean views that make mornings feel like you're waking up in paradise. Conveniently located just a few steps from the beach, it’s perfect for quick sandy excursions throughout the day.
Unfortunately, cleanliness left much to be desired—specifically, the noticeable presence of mildew in the room and a slightly stained sofa bed. The hallways had a bit of a grimy vibe, and maintenance of the facilities didn't seem to be a priority, which can be off-putting. A bit more attention could really elevate the overall experience and ensure that guests are more satisfied.

missingWrote a review on Oct 05spacious bathroomnew pooldelicious snacksmalfunctioning air conditioning
The room in the Baltimore Building impressed with its spaciousness and cleanliness, providing a large bathroom that was definitely a perk. The new pool offered a slightly heated escape, and the bar served delicious poolside snacks, which made unwinding easy after a long day.
Unfortunately, the hotel had its downsides. The air conditioning unit malfunctioned throughout our stay, turning our room into a sauna more than once. Housekeeping seemed hit or miss. we struggled to get fresh towels and had to borrow a vacuum from a maid to clean up sand ourselves. Plus, the luggage carts were in rough shape, making transportation of bags a hassle. Lastly, navigating the parking garage proved frustratingly tight, especially for larger vehicles.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
